I linked to your blog through one of the homeschool emails...you have a great blog and I your writing on this subject brings up very familiar feelings :) I know that many homeschoolers start with the ancients and we may be doing that as well but I wanted to give you some other encouragement to not stress too much! You are doing the right thing for your family by homeschooling and your son will learn more than he probably would at school anyway! I have been amazes how much my son has learned this past year. We tested very early to get itdone since I was having a baby in march. Even with all the breaks and interruptions he has learned lots. You'll do great! We should get together sometime and let the boys play and we can talk homeschool strategies :)Michellehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/10546180405393389908noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2178111376936229098.post-25755627388661703812011-06-12T20:21:16.613-04:002011-06-12T20:21:16.613-04:00Your words are so encouraging. However, with God's help we can and do succeed. I love how you honor your husband in this post. God wants husbands and wives to honor each other. Sometimes I find myself getting all caught up in the what I have to do for the kids ... when it's really more about what we need to do. It's hard when you're a SAHM because you take your work to bed with you and wake up to it, too. There's not much respite until we remember that God gave us partners for a reason! Thanks for sharing this with such honesty!Hyacynthhttp://www.undercovermother.netnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2178111376936229098.post-276308995130226092011-06-11T09:42:20.126-04:002011-06-11T09:42:20.126-04:00Oh, that was wonderful! It's just a matter of continuing to move forward, even if it feels like only inches at a time. The sum total of all those steps will amaze you! :)I Live in an Antbedhttp://www.iliveinanantbed.blogspot.comnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2178111376936229098.post-36792783392360146452011-06-11T09:30:19.747-04:002011-06-11T09:30:19.747-04:00Mary Jo, you will do great!
